Happy Thanksgiving or "Happy Day We Bite the Big Chicken"

Warm apple pie on the counter

Sweet potatoes baking in the oven

My cute kids watching Polar Express for the first time this year (our living room is baricaded against Caitlin - the "destructor" baby.)

My heart is warm and full this Thanksgiving. (Just like my tummy will be in a few more hours). I'm thankful for my beautiful family, 4 adorable kids and an adoring hubby. A warm house filled to bursting with "stuff" we love. And especially for a family full of good health, strength and hopefully strong hearts.

We had our 3rd Annual Family Turkey Trot today.

This is my "newest" favorite tradition. I love that it gets a little bigger each year. Exercising our legs and lungs before we exercise our mouths and  fill our bellies helps me realize how thankful I am for all my physical blessings.

Lizzy asked me a couple of days ago if today was the day we "bite the big chicken".

So to some of you, Happy Thanksgiving! To others, "Happy Lobster Day"! and to Lizzy "Happy day we Bite the Big Chicken"!
